Meet Me There Eco Lodge

Meet Me There Eco Lodge is a not-for-profit eco-lodge on the coast of Ghana's Volta Region, set between the villages of Dzita and Dzita-Abledomi. It sits on a salt-water lagoon with the sea nearby, and the operator describes the stay as calm, relaxing and eco-friendly — guests wake to the sound of the ocean and fishermen's songs. The lodge is also the headquarters of the Dream Big Ghana NGO, which works on sanitation, education and healthcare in Dzita and Dzita-Agbledomi; according to the operator, all profits support that work.

Accommodation is spread across named rooms and suites, including Sunrise and Sunset Suites, Earth Suite, Wave Suite, Honeymoon/Chief Suite, Queen Plus and Twin. Features listed by the operator include queen-size beds, fans, private deckings over the lagoon, open-air showers and en-suite compost toilets; the Queen Plus has a flushing toilet.
