About VisitGhana.app

VisitGhana.app is an independent travel information platform created to help people discover, understand and explore Ghana.

Our goal is simple: to make useful information about places in Ghana easier to find. We research and organise information about attractions, destinations, accommodation, restaurants, activities, events and other places that may be useful to residents and visitors.

How We Research

Information published on VisitGhana.app may be gathered from publicly available sources, direct research, official websites and publications, maps, business listings, social media pages, submissions from businesses or members of the public, and other sources we consider useful.

Where possible, we compare information from multiple sources before publishing it.

However, places change. Opening hours, admission fees, contact details, road conditions, services, event dates and other information may change without notice.

We therefore encourage visitors to confirm important information directly with the relevant attraction, business, organisation or official authority before making travel arrangements.

Our Independence

VisitGhana.app is an independent, privately run website produced by independent researchers.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Ministry responsible for tourism, visitghana.com, or any other government institution, and does not represent any of them.

The name VisitGhana.app describes the purpose of the platform: helping people discover and visit places in Ghana. It should not be interpreted as indicating government ownership, endorsement or affiliation.

Information on this website is provided for general guidance only. Where information is important to your travel plans, please verify it with the relevant official source before travelling.

Helping Us Improve

Ghana has thousands of places worth discovering, and keeping information about them accurate is an ongoing process.

If you find information that is incorrect, outdated or incomplete, we welcome corrections.

Businesses, attractions and members of the public may also contact us to suggest updates, corrections or additional places.
