About Tsizor Waterfall
Tsizor Waterfall — also written Tizor or Tii Zor Fall — is a waterfall in the Afadzato South District of Ghana's Volta Region, near the small village of Liati Soba. It sits on the route between Liati Wote and Logba, and is counted among the 17 waterfalls of the Volta Region.
The fall is fed by the Tii river, which flows through thick forest. The river is described as perennial, naturally cold, and originating from the Togo-Attakora mountain range. Water comes over the top through a rock formation and drops into a pot-shaped feature, which is the source of the name: "Zor" means "pot" in Ewe, the local language.
Local tradition holds that anyone who enters the pot will never come out alive. That belief is part of how the site is understood locally, and it is worth knowing before you arrive.
Visitors reach the fall on foot from Liati Soba. The village is also home to Ghana's only snake zoo, Zimazio, which some travellers may combine with a visit to the waterfall.
Practical details are limited in the available sources. No opening hours, entry fees, guide arrangements, trail length, walking time, or accessibility information is confirmed here, so those points should be checked locally before travelling. The setting is forested and the water is described as naturally cold; the sources do not describe facilities, signage, or safety provisions at the site.
