About Big Foot Safari Lodge

Big Foot Safari Lodge is a nature-focused lodge at Wli-Afegame in the Hohoe Municipal District of the Volta Region, Ghana. It sits at the foothills of the Agumatsa To mountain, part of the Afadza To range, and the operator places it roughly 250 km from Accra and about 4 km from Wli Waterfalls. Booking listings put it around 1.2 km from the Agmatsa Wildlife Sanctuary. The address is given as Unnamed Road, Border Post, Wli Afegame.

The lodge is set up as a base for exploring the surrounding area rather than as a destination in itself. The operator says it arranges tours to Wli Waterfall, Mount Afadzato, the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, Kpando Torko lake, Kyabob forest reserve and waterfall, and caves at Likpe Tadome. Some weekends feature traditional music, dancing and drumming.

Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis, with a restaurant and bar on site and camping available, including tents for rent. Booking platforms describe family rooms with private bathrooms, air-conditioning and balconies, and list a garden, terrace, shared lounge, children's playground, games room, picnic area, outdoor fireplace, bicycle parking, free on-site parking, room service and Wi-Fi. The restaurant is described as serving African and European cuisine, and a nightclub is also listed. Check-in is stated as 14:00 and check-out as 12:00.

Room rates published on the operator's website are quoted in US dollars: a mountain view room at $30, double and single en-suite rooms at $37, and a triple en-suite room at $42. These figures come from the operator's own site and should be confirmed before travel, as rates and inclusions can change.

For reservations, the operator directs guests to call or WhatsApp the numbers listed under "Reservation & Enquiries" on its website. An email address appears in directory listings but was not seen on the operator's own pages, and the lodge's Facebook page could not be read directly, so neither should be relied on without confirmation. Coordinates circulating on a third-party listing are unverified.
