About Tenack Beach Resort & Hotel

Tenack Beach Resort & Hotel is a beachfront resort and hotel at Beyin in the Western Region of Ghana, set on the beach and described by its operator as being about three minutes' drive from Nzulezu. It began in 2010 as a mini beach house, started with the aim of employing local community members and offering affordable accommodation to travellers, and has expanded since.

The operator presents it as a two-star hotel with 56 rooms, conference facilities, a tennis court, a swimming pool and a children's playgroup. That combination — rooms, meeting space, a pool and a playgroup — is what shapes the place: it is built for group bookings, conferences and family stays rather than for a quiet single-room retreat. A 2022 visitor account describes more than 20 en-suite rooms, a restaurant and bar, a pool bar, a kids' playground, sea-view rooms, a large pool, a tennis court and a swimmable beachfront. The two room counts differ, and the operator's figure is the one to plan around.

Its setting is the coast at Beyin, in the far west of Ghana near the Ivorian border. The operator places it a few minutes from Nzulezu and Fort Apollonia, roughly two hours from Takoradi and about a seven-hour drive from Accra. Packaged tours are offered to Nzulezu, Fort Apollonia, Ankasa Forest Reserve, Nkroful and Princess Town with Fort Groot-Friedrichsburg, which makes the resort a plausible base for the western forts-and-lagoons circuit.

Practical details are limited. The operator's site lists phone numbers +233 0577686230 and +233 0242783677 and a web enquiry form; there is no verified opening information, booking policy or current price list here. Rates reported in 2022 ran from about GHC 310 for a standard room to GHC 650 for executive family rooms, with pool-and-sea-view rooms around GHC 370, meals about GHC 15–60 and a complimentary buffet breakfast for guests. Treat those as historical. Confirm rooms, rates and tour arrangements directly before travelling.
