Prince's Town Beach lies on the Atlantic shoreline at Prince's Town, known locally as Pokesu or Bokaso, in the Ahanta West District of Ghana's Western Region. The town sits between Axim to the west and Sekondi-Takoradi to the east, on the fringe of the Cape Three Points Forest Reserve, and the beach is reached off the Takoradi–Elubo highway by a short drive or minibus ride from Takoradi.
The beach itself is described as a long stretch of clean, unspoiled sand, and it is listed among the Western Region's beaches by Ghana's tourism authority. It is also included as an access point in commercial tour itineraries covering the beach and village areas, alongside Fort Gross Friedrichsburg.
The setting is as much cultural as coastal. Prince's Town is home to Ahanta and Nzema communities, and the town's Tourism Development Committee invites visitors to register in advance for guided tours, cultural experiences and fishing excursions. A week-long Kundum Festival is held each September and October. Guided walks of nearby Fort Gross Friedrichsburg, a Brandenburg fort dating to 1683, are available, and the fort stands about 5 km east of Fort Saint Antonio on Manfro Hill.
On the beach, local vendors serve dishes such as fufu, kenkey, gari, yaka and atuku, and meals can be prepared on request. Accommodation in the area, from Fort Gross Friedrichsburg to Princes Guesthouse, is described as affordably priced.
Sunbathing is the activity most associated with this secluded stretch. Swimming is discouraged because of dangerous waters. Whales or dolphins may be spotted offshore between July and February, though sightings are not guaranteed.
Practical details remain thin. No confirmed beach facilities — toilets, showers, lifeguards or seating — were found in the available sources, and no opening hours or entry fees are documented. Visitors should treat facilities as unconfirmed and plan accordingly.
