Our Lady of Calvary Grotto at Asueyi is a Catholic pilgrimage and retreat grotto of the Diocese of Techiman, built on rock formations, and it draws visitors for prayer and reflection. Tano Boase Sacred Grove near Tanoboase is a sacred grove and rock shrine linked to the deity Tano and the heritage of the Bono people, with caves, history and community tourism woven together.
Between a waterfall, a grotto and a sacred grove, you can shape a gentle day or two around Techiman that touches landscape, belief and memory.

Plan around daylight and allow unhurried time at each site, since these are places of worship and community life as much as visitor attractions. The waterfall is the simplest to reach, sitting just off the Techiman–Kintampo highway, while the grotto at Asueyi and the Tano Boase Sacred Grove near Tanoboase are best visited with local guidance. Before you set out, check current access arrangements, opening times and any fees directly with the sites or a local guide, as these can change.
