Kpetoe, in the Volta Region's Agortime-Ziope District, is a kente-weaving town on the Ho–Aflao highway, and the cloth made here is the reason to come. Three places in and around the town share that thread: Agortime-Kpetoe Kente Town, the town itself, with its weavers' cooperative centre and an annual Kente Festival; the Kpetoe Kente Weaving Centre, a roofed, open-air building where up to 25 weavers work and sell Ewe kente cloth; and Kente Village Kpetoe, a planned weaving centre and cultural tourism project.
They differ in what you will actually find. The weaving centre is working and open, with weavers at their looms and cloth for sale. Agortime-Kpetoe Kente Town is the wider setting, best visited when the Kente Festival is on. Kente Village Kpetoe, by contrast, is still uncompleted and is not an operating attraction, so treat it as a site to see rather than a place to visit for a tour or a purchase.

Kpetoe sits on the Ho–Aflao highway, so it is easy to fold into a Volta Region journey by road. Plan your day around the Kpetoe Kente Weaving Centre, where the weaving actually happens, and allow time to watch and to buy cloth directly from the weavers.
