Vicakpo Hotel

Vicakpo Hotel is a hotel in Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana. The operator places it in the Galikope area, behind the school for the Deaf, and gives a postal address of P. O. Box HH 272, Hohoe, with the Ghana Post GPS code VC-0089-6259. Independent directory listings describe the same Galikope, School for the Deaf location, so the setting is reasonably well corroborated.

The hotel presents itself as a retreat in the heart of Hohoe offering a blend of modern amenities. Room categories named by the operator are Standard, Double, Deluxe and Executive, and the operator states that bed and breakfast is offered along with lunch and supper service. An event centre on green grounds is used for weddings, corporate retreats, social gatherings and funerals, and the grounds include garden "lover's swings".

Third-party directories list further facilities, but these are not operator-confirmed and should be treated as indicative rather than guaranteed. One listing mentions flat-screen televisions, laundry and dry cleaning, internet access, air conditioning, a microwave oven, a seating area, a hair dryer, an ironing board on request, breakfast and hotel transport services, with family rooms among the room types, check-in at 11:00 AM and check-out at 12:00 PM, and pets not permitted. Another lists free WiFi, family rooms, non-smoking rooms, a bar, a garden, a jacuzzi, and room amenities including shower, refrigerator, toiletries, WC, television and towels, alongside a swimming pool, fitness centre, restaurant, minibar and heater. Some of those items, particularly the pool and fitness centre, may be generic directory content and are unverified.

For planning, the operator's own contact details are the most reliable starting point: the website vicakpohotel.com, email [email protected], and telephone numbers 0503821233 and 0256968861. The hotel states it is centrally located with easy access on foot to local activities, and it lists nearby attractions including Wli Falls, the Tafi monkey sanctuary, the Amedzofe canopy walkway, the Talking River at Gbi-Wegbe in Godenu, and the slave cave in Likpe. Distances, travel times, rates and current opening arrangements are not established by the available evidence, so visitors should confirm details directly before travelling.
