Shekinah Glory Hotel

Shekinah Glory Hotel is a hotel in Sogakope (also written Sogakofe), the capital of South Tongu District in the Volta Region of Ghana. It appears in Wikipedia's list of the town's notable accommodation, alongside Holy Trinity Spa, Cisneros Villa Hotel and Sogakofe Beach Resort, and an independent directory listing confirms a hotel of this name in Sogakope. Ghana News Agency reporting from February 2024 describes the business as having grown from a budget guest house into a three-star hotel, with its CEO pledging continued contribution to tourism growth in the Volta Region and beyond.

Sogakope sits on the international highway running from Togo through Ghana toward Côte d'Ivoire, near the Lower Volta Bridge. The town is known for river tourism and for bread baking. For a traveller moving along that corridor, or exploring the lower Volta, this is a town with an established accommodation base rather than a single isolated property.

The hotel's official contact page gives its address as Sogakofe Senior High School Road, with the postal address P.O. BOX SG 196, Sogakofe. Published contact details include the email [email protected] and the phone numbers +233 245 253 266, +233 244 361 251 and +233 547 392 309; a separate directory listing shows numbers consistent with these. The hotel's website is shekinahgloryhotel.org.

A related but distinct facility, the Royal Shekinah Highway Rest Stop at Hlevi highway, was commissioned in early 2024. Ghana News Agency reporting describes it as including a 400-seater conference hall, bar, restaurant, washrooms, unisex salon, swimming pool, cinema theatre and games centre. Those details are reported for the rest stop and are not confirmed as amenities of the hotel itself, so visitors should not assume they apply here.

Practical planning notes: room rates, opening arrangements, room types and on-site facilities for the hotel are not established by the available sources and should be confirmed directly with the property before travelling. The hotel's own coordinates are likewise unverified; the map position used here is a secondary match for the Sogakope location, so it is worth checking the route to Sogakofe Senior High School Road locally.
