Hotels in Akatsi

Akatsi is the capital of the Akatsi South Municipal District in Ghana's Volta Region, and a useful stop for travellers moving through the eastern Volta area. The places gathered here are all in Akatsi itself, so wherever you settle you are within the town rather than out in the countryside. Most are small guest houses and budget hotels, and nearly all of them pair simple rooms with somewhere to eat or drink on site.

They differ mainly in size, setting and what comes with the room. Magava Hotel is a 16-room hotel listed with a restaurant, bar and 24-hour front desk, while Viglin Lodge offers 21 rooms with a bar, a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Time Tells Hotel, also known as Ematol Time-Tells Hotel, is larger at 24 rooms on Bata Street off the Dzodze road, but has no on-site food service. Dominion Guest House sits on the Akatsi–Ziope Road at Telemale with its own restaurant and bar, and Dzifanor's Guest House in the Tatorme neighbourhood offers bed and breakfast with 24-hour electricity and front desk. Tonynan Hotels on Klutsey Street is listed with air-conditioned en-suite rooms, and Kepson Guest House at Gagbakofe is near the Akatsi Fire Service.
